I find helping students discover their “best fit” colleges based on their own unique criteria is what I enjoy most about college advising! My goal is to ease the pressure of the college search, bring clarity to the process and, ultimately, help kids find colleges that are right for them. I firmly believe “college is a journey, not a destination”…therefore, the process needs to consider the individual interests and needs of each student at the outset of the process. My understanding of the college application process began with my own three children fifteen years ago, and I am now a parent of a UC Berkeley, Cal State Fullerton, and University of Vermont graduate. Since starting my business in 2013, I have visited hundreds of colleges across the country, and even a few universities in Europe. I enjoy working with a wide variety of students and have helped transfer students, recruited athletes, performing art students as well as students pursuing a traditional college experience. I also work for College Dream Team, a non-profit, college access program in Marin County that supports underserved students in the county. When I’m not running the hills near my home, or cycling the back roads of West Marin, I participate in professional conferences and workshops to stay abreast of the constantly changing environment of college admissions!
